WNCAA BADMINTON GROUNDRULES
 
A. GENERAL RULES
       
  1.0 The tournament shall be conducted in accordance with the current laws of the BWF as adopted by the PBA.
    However, in matters not covered by these rules and regulation, decision shall rest with the
    Tournament Director and Organizing Committee.
     
  2.0 Each Participating Team / School shall submit to the Organizing Committee the list of Players and their
    corresponding events to play.
     
  3.0 A player can play twice in every team tie.
     
  4.0 All players are required to use their school badminton uniform.
     
  5.0 Only the coach shall be allowed to approach the table's official with regards to inquiries and verification
     
  6.0 A ten minutes (10) grace period in the scheduled tie will be given otherwise the team / player will be declared
    declared lose by walk-over.
     
  7.0 In case of injury, the player can not be replace or substituted by another player.
     
  8.0 In case of force majeure and the ongoing tie will be impossible to continue such tie shall be continued
    on a later time / date from the point where it was disrupted.
     
  9.0 The decision of the Referee / Tournament Director on any question during the competition shall be final.
     
B. FIELDING PLAYERS
     
  1.0 The WNCAA rules the minimum 3 and the maximum 4 number of players to be fielded per tie will apply.
     
  2.0 Each Team / School shall submit their entries for team tie right after the drawing of lots.
     
  3.0 Fielding forms will be made available to the coaches at least forty five (45) minutes before each tie.
    The filled out forms should be submitted to match control at least 20 minutes before the
    scheduled start of the tie.
     
  4.0 The entry form shall be duly signed by the coach or team captain.
     
  5.0 When the entry form is submitted, no changes shall be made.
       
C. FORMAT OF COMPETITION
     
  1.0 Team tie or Team Competition
     
  2.0 Shall be played in groupings Round Robin
       
    2.1 Two Groups in the Seniors Division ( Top 4 )
       
    2.2 One Group in the Juniors Division ( Top 4 )
       
    2.3 One Group in the Midgets Division ( Top 2 )
     
  3.0 Best -of- Three ties ( series )
     
  4.0 Scoring System will be Rally 21-Point.
     
D. ORDER OF PLAY SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS:
   
  1st Singles
  Doubles
  2nd Singles
   
E. DATE AND VENUES
   
   
   
   
F. DRAWS AND SCHEDULES
       
  1.0 The Draw will be held one (1) hour before the actual competition.
     
  2.0 Coaches or Team captain shall be the one to make the draw to determine their opponent
     
  3.0 The games will commence at exactly 9:00 am, Team Manager / Coaches are requested to attend the draw
    two hours before the actual competition.
   
G. ENTRY OF PLAYER
   
  Each Team / School shall submit their entries for team tie right after the drawing of lots.
       
H. PROTEST
       
  1.0 Protest on players eligibility will be settled at the WNCAA level.
     
  2.0 Protest on Tournament administration and rules of play will be settled at the level of the Tournament
    Director within 15 minutes after the match or ties.
     
  3.0 All protest shall be handed over to the Tournament Director within 15 minutes after the match or ties.
     
  4.0 Schedule of tie / match must proceed accordingly and must not be interrupted by the protest.
